For the past six years, I’ve had the honor of teaching through the American Bespoke Tailoring Academy. The ABTA was a very special time in my life. I connected with so many wonderful students from around the world, both in-house and online. It was also a place that allowed me to further hone my craft as a tailor and as a teacher, and pass along my mother’s legacy. It challenged me to learn new skills, such as filming and building a living, breathing web presence. I grew from the experience, and I will always be grateful for that chapter in my life. To all of you that were a part of it with me, I thank you.
But it is time to step into something new, to once again be the trailblazer that I am. Which means doing something bigger, freer, and on my own terms.
Marlene’s Atelier is where I do what I love most, tailoring. And now, I’ve opened those doors to share my craft freely, openly, holding nothing back. Each week I’ll share full tailoring masterclasses, quick tips, and the timeless techniques of bespoke tailoring, accessible to anyone, anywhere.
This is not the end of my teaching. It’s the beginning of something more alive, more authentic, and more inclusive, the beginning of a Marlene who gives more freely than ever before.
I invite you to join me in Marlene’s Atelier.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn tailoring, to see the process, or to connect with the beauty of this craft, I invite you to come on in. The atelier is open, and you are welcome anytime.
With gratitude for the American Bespoke Tailoring Academy years, and excitement for this new journey,

“Tailoring is who I am, not what I do.“
Each week, Marlene invites you into her personal workspace to share her passion for bespoke tailoring and her process-driven approach to teaching. Every episode is rooted in reasoning, technique, and intention—because true craftsmanship is never accidental.
Her current project, the Swing-Baby-Swing Coat, showcases the transformation of a beautiful Prince of Wales plaid into an iconic fashion piece. From laying the cloth to chalking each pattern, you’ll see how precision, planning, and artistry come together to shape every detail.
