Preparing Our Students to Excel in the Ever-evolving World of Bespoke Tailoring
The American Bespoke Tailoring Academy proudly offers the finest tailoring programs in the United States, setting the standard for excellence in the craft. This hands-on program allows students to master the art of bespoke tailoring in a collaborative and personal learning environment, where they gain the skills, precision, and confidence needed to excel in the industry.
The In-House Master Tailor program offers an immersive experience where students will create two three-piece suits while mastering the art of cutting and custom fitting in harmony with the figure.
Guided by our master tailor Ms. Franke, students will learn the time-honored soft-structured tailoring techniques that have been practiced by British bespoke tailors for hundreds of years. Our rigorous curriculum, combined with extensive hands-on opportunities and a supportive environment, allows students to grow in skill, confidence, and creativity—the essence of our academy’s mission.
This comprehensive approach emphasizes the precision of cutting, fitting, and tailoring while fostering a deep love for the craft and developing strong professional character. By the end of the program, students will be well prepared to excel in the tailoring industry.
Program Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive, hands-on education. Our students learn the fundamentals of measuring, pattern drafting, laying and cutting, custom-fitting and hand-tailoring. The program emphasizes the art of fitting and making detailed adjustments to create perfectly tailored garments. Throughout the course, our students craft two three-piece suits while mastering essential techniques under the guidance of master tailor, Ms. Franke, ensuring they are fully equipped to meet the highest standards of the industry.
Program Details
The program runs over 32 weeks from September to May. Students will participate in class between 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, and have open studio availability morning, evenings, and all day Saturday to catch up with their work.
Tuition is $16,500
Students are responsible for the cost of all tools and materials required for the program
Registration take place January 1st through June 1st.
